Subscription dues are just like a magazine subscription. It gives you 365 days of membership in the VFW. With this being the first year that they are coming into effect it will be a process that we are not use to. The basic breakdown of what is going to happen is:

If you are an annual member and you pay your dues before Jan your expiration will be Jan 2015. If you pay after that date whatever day your dues are processed at National will be the new expiration date. Example would be that you send in your dues to National on 1 Feb 2015 and National processed them on the 15 Feb. Your new expiration date would be 15 Feb 2016.

Annual membership Dues $39 and due on the anniversary of the date you joined the VFW or the date of annual renewal.


Student Vet's Annual membership is $20.

In addition to our own Veterans Benefit Advisor, Harrison County, MS has a Veterans Service Representative.
 
 
Harrison County, Mississippi has Harrison County Veteran Services, with offices in both Gulfport and Biloxi, to assist former service members and their families with claims and benefits.

VFW Post 6731 is a local chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), a nonprofit veterans service organization dedicated to supporting veterans, service members, their families, and our community.

Individuals are eligible for VFW membership if they have served honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces and have earned a qualifying campaign medal or served in a location that qualifies for VFW membership. Contact Post 6731 for assistance determining eligibility.

You can apply by visiting the post, speaking with a membership representative, or completing an application through the VFW. Our members are happy to help guide you through the process.

Yes. Post 6731 strives to connect veterans with available resources, benefits information, and local support services. We can help point veterans in the right direction for assistance and advocacy.

Post meetings are held regularly at the VFW Post 6731 facility on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.

Yes. Many post activities are family-friendly, and we welcome participation from veterans' families, supporters, and members of our community during designated events.

The VFW Auxiliary is an organization of eligible family members who support veterans, military families, and VFW programs through volunteer service and community outreach.
